With the enhancement of ComfortLine 2.0, we have been able to improve the water supply to the animals while facilitating accessibility to the nipple at the same time. The proven principle with pendulum, bowl and nipple remains unchanged. With the new duck nipples Art. 4001-4, which are now arranged to the side of the pendulum, we have achieved an even longer service life for the drinker and thus increase the reliability of the water supply even further due to two nipples per cup. Maintenance is made much easier by attaching the double nipple pendulum with a socket pin.
The central element of the duck drinking system is the top nipple. 4022, which ensures an optimum water flow for every animal age. The combination of nipple and drip cup provides a dry manure. The right height depends on the size of the animals: They should have to stretch slightly to reach the nipples. Every delivered system includes a height table, making it easy to find the correct height of the drinking line from the first day on.
The animals can dip their head entirely into the tray with the additional cup drinker. The shape of the tray minimises water losses. This water supply, adapted to the animal’s biological requirements, fully complies with the Council of Europe’s recommendation on Peking ducks. In addition to water absorption, it cleans the beak and plumage. Animal welfare and animal health are thus strengthened for optimum performance.
1. Water Supply
The main water supply secures an optimum water quality for a long service life of the nipple drinkers. The water should have the quality of drinking water. In any case, the water must be filtered. The water runs from the main water supply through the pressure regulator or the ball tank with an integrated flush system into the drinking lines. Both versions are available for front or middle installations.

The drinking lines are supplied in assembled elements of 3 m length. These elements are to be coupled to the size of the hose.
8. Breather Unit
A flush breather unit is installed at the end of each drinking line. All valves of the breather units close during flushing, which can be started by hand or the automatic flush system.
Suspension
The drinking lines are suspended by hangers, which are stuck on the aluminium profiles every 3 m. These hangers are connected via ceiling pulleys with the central hoisting cable. A hand or ceiling winch can adjust the drinking line to the desired height. It can be winched up quickly to the ceiling for emptying or cleaning.
